Visit Russia on Confederations Cup FIFA 2017 – Saint Petersburg

So its only 2 months before the Confederations Cup begins. Russia, and especially the 4 cities where the tournament will be held – Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan and Sochi – is about to embrace millions of tourists from all over the world.

The Krestovsky stadium (It will be called “Saint Petersburg Arena” stadium during the Confederacy Cup 2017 and FIFA World Cup 2018) will host 4 matches. Its capacity is 68134 people, what makes Krestovsky Arena one of the largest stadiums in Europe and the biggest of Russia’s stadiums during the Confederacy Cup 2017.

If you are true football fan, you should stay in Russia during all the time of tournament. What are you going to do in between the matches?

Several days ago we wrote about your Moscow trip during the days of Confederacy cup. In Saint Petersburg you’ll see beautiful Winter Palace, being tsars’ residence for more than 200 years, founded in 1711 and was rebuilded and expanded 5 times. During the Saint Petersburg sightseeing tour you will go down the Nevsky Prospect, the main street, visit Kazan Cathedral, dedicated to Our Lady of Kazan – the most venerable icon in Russia. You will attend St. Isaac Cathedral, built in honor to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia - a patron saint of Russian emperor Peter the Great, founder of Saint Petersburg and climb up to its viewing point. Finally you will visit Peter and Paul fortress, where Russian emperors are buried. You will have an opportunity to visit State Hermitage museum with its world known masterpieces (Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Titian, Rembrandt, Rubens, Matisse). We will also arrange tour to Catherine palace, where the famous Amber Room is situated, and to Peterhof Palace – “Russian Versailles”, the residence of Peter the Great.
